What is norse myth garm?

Garm is a monstrous hound in Norse mythology. He is said to live in Hel, the realm of the dead, and guards the entrance to it along with the goddess, Hel. Garm is depicted as a blood-stained dog with four eyes and sharp teeth.

According to the myth, Garm will stay chained up until the day of Ragnarok, the end of the world, when he will break free and fight against the gods. During this final battle, Garm will fight against the god Tyr and both will die in the combat.

Garm is seen as a vicious creature and is considered as a symbol of death and destruction in Norse mythology.
